Corey MacTavish, avid multi species kayak Angler! On the hunt for smallmouth bass most of the time. While bass is one of my favourite to find, I also enjoy anything from panfish to those big toothy critters! This was my first summer competing as a kayak Angler in the KAAO On the Water series! Had a blast, and met many others with the same addiction for kayak fishing!
Fishing out of a kayak, you need to be able to hold your spot. With my Tightline Anchor I can do just that without having to carry around a heavy bulky anchor. The K4x is light and compact and always keeps me on my spot! Oh yeah, and looks great while doing so!
Other brands that I endorse and stand behind 100% are or Liquid Mayhem, Woo! Tungsten, Sasquatch Lure Co., and SEM Outdoors.

Me name is Joseph Russell, I have been fishing since I was 5 years old. I bought my first kayak when I was twelve, a wilderness systems critter. Fast forward 16 years and I run by own kayak trail, NEBKS CAPE COD, successfully for 3 years now. With over 300 members in NEBKS, we provide the New England community with a fair, fun and competitive style kayak tournament fishing trail. I produce hours and hours of footage every year for my sponsors that are edited and used for a promotional use. This has been a passion of mine, recording media while I fish from my NUCANOE pursuit paired up with the Motorguide Xi3 55lb GPS trolling motor.
Tightline anchor has changed my tournament fishing with the ability to anchor in deep or shallow water and focus on one spot of fishing, holding my 300lb kayak like a champion!
My sponsors consist of Booyah, Smithwick, Yum, Motorguide, Oakley, Tightline anchor, Rod glove, Swagger Tackle, Enigma fishing, Area 51 fishing, Navionics, Nucanoe, Heddon.

Roberto moved from a very arid area in Mexico where the closest fishing spot was at least a three-hour drive from him to an area in Canada that is surrounded by water within a 10-minute drive from his house. It was in 2002 when he bought his first rod/reel combo and caught his first fish. He was hooked!
From then on Roberto started reading about fishing and immediately bought his first boat that him and his father restored. Yearly he changed boats until he was competing with the big guys in the Canadian Bass Fishing Tournaments. Due to unforeseen circumstances he had to get rid of his bass boat, but he was decided to never give up his passion, so he hooked up with Jackson Kayak and decided to give kayak fishing a try. He has never looked back since then. Roberto has developed an absolute love for kayak fishing that he now shares it with everyone he meets. He even decided to start his own group of kayak fishermen that paddle and fish the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
If you don't find him with his beloved family, you will most certainly find him on the water paddling, fishing and taking pictures.

"As a backcountry fishing Guide, anchors were typically a luxury I couldn't afford to carry in my canoe or kayak. The Tightline Anchor™solves that problem by offering a solid grip with just a fraction of the weight penalty of a typical anchor. Great product."

"Being a waterfowl hunter I'm used to going out in rough conditions, I never thought an anchor as small and as light as the "K4x" would help me to stay stationary in my canoe.
Both in weed beds and mucky silt, the anchor has always bit and kept me in the spot I needed to be to make my shots count.
As an avid fisherman having fished rivers with heavy current I came to accept that an anchor would not keep me stationary. After getting the Stingray 16x4 I've never second guessed when to drop the anchor at my favourite fishing hole, and I know I can stay at the same spot and worry about my fishing techniques, more than my boating position. I've learned the hard way, you get what you pay for"
